One of my fav. tid-bits about the good Dr. was that one of his books was written due to a bet. His editor wagered that Suess couldn't write a book using only 50 different words. The result of the bet was Green Eggs and Ham.
Actually I liked Dick and Jane, too. The only problem was that we'd get our book for the semester and i'd have it read in the first couple of days- nothing new to read till the next semester. I just like the alliteration : )

Definitely Green Eggs and Ham is a favorite around here still. ;)

Great post title, lol
I don't get the trouble with Dick and Jane. I like them. And I never really liked Dr. Seuss. Too scattered. Go figure.
